Scenario
You are assigned the role of new Assistant Operations Manager of a large international restaurant chain. You can choose any organisation of your own choice, if suitable.
You are directed to conduct a resource and risk analysis and present a report to the Operations Manager.
You are required to the following things in report:
- Make a resource allocation plan which meets the specific operational requirements for an organisation. Your ca also uses and apply most appropriate strategies in relation to resource allocation plan. Explain the advantages and disadvantages for improvement of work flow and inputs in relation to different resource management strategies.
- Conduct a Strategic Risk Analysis (SRA) of an organisation with use of risk identification and mapping. Evaluate contingency plans and strategies for minimising the risk in SRA. Provide relevant recommendations at operational, tactical and strategic level.
